1. Services Provided

I offer:

Online GCSE Maths tutoring (Foundation & Higher)
KS3 Maths support
Revision planning and exam preparation

All lessons are delivered online via Microsoft teams.

2. Booking and Payment

2.1 Booking

Lessons must be booked in advance.
Regular weekly slots may be offered subject to availability.

2.2 Payment

Payment is required before the session unless otherwise agreed.
Payments are processed securely through bank transfer.
Invoices/receipts are provided weekly.

3. Cancellations and Rescheduling

3.1 Student/Parent Cancellations

At least 24 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule a session.
Sessions cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice will be charged in full.

3.2 Tutor Cancellations

If I need to cancel a session, I will provide as much notice as possible.
A rescheduled session or full refund will be offered.

4. Lesson Expectations

4.1 Student Responsibilities

Arrive on time with necessary equipment (calculator, paper, pen, etc.).
Engage positively and complete agreed tasks.
Ensure a quiet, safe learning environment.

4.2 Parent/Guardian Responsibilities

Ensure the student has appropriate supervision where required.
Provide accurate information about learning needs.

4.3 Tutor Responsibilities

Deliver high‑quality, personalised Maths tuition.
Provide feedback and guidance.
Maintain professional standards and safeguarding obligations.

5. Safeguarding

All online lessons must take place with a parent/guardian aware of the session.
I follow UK safeguarding guidelines and will report concerns where legally required.
Sessions may not be recorded by either party unless explicitly agreed in writing.

6. Data Protection

Personal information is handled in accordance with UK GDPR.
Data is used only for tutoring, communication, and administration.

7. Online Safety and Conduct

Students must behave respectfully during sessions.
Abusive, inappropriate, or disruptive behaviour may result in termination of services.
Technical issues will be handled fairly; if a session cannot continue due to technical failure, a rescheduled session may be offered.

8. Results and Guarantees

I aim to help every student improve confidence and performance, but:

I cannot guarantee specific grades or outcomes.
Progress depends on attendance, engagement, and completion of independent work.

9. Termination of Services

Either party may end tutoring arrangements at any time with reasonable notice. Outstanding fees must be paid before termination.

10. Intellectual Property

Resources, worksheets, and lesson materials I provide are for personal use only.
They may not be shared, copied, or distributed without permission.
